Site address: Belleville Ter 005. Parcel number: 0963-08-0724. The 2010 taxes of $251.88 have not been paid. Past due as of 5-1-11 are $260.44.  According to the Property Appraiser's office (941) 861-8200, the lot is in Northport, near Port Charlotte and it is unknown whether there are utilities nearby. The County seat is located in Sarasota, FL. 

LIENS: Past due taxes of $260.44 as of 5-1-11, payable by the Buyer. We do not know of any liens.

LOCATION INFO: Sarasota County was created in 1921. After  After acquisition by the United States as a territory, the area now included in the county had been governed by Hillsborough County and then Manatee County. Manatee County was carved up to allow the creation of 3 more counties as well. Although the name was associated with the area from the beginning of European contacts, the origin of the name, Sarasota is unknown.It may be named for a word in the indigenous Calusa language, whose meaning may be Point of Rocks or Place of the Dance. Some believe a fanciful story that it was named after famous explorer Hernando de Soto's daughter Sara.
